Venice Community Housing has unveiled renderings for the Rose Avenue Apartments, a new permanent supportive housing development near the intersection of Rose Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard.
The project, which would replace VCH's administrative offices at 718-722 E. Rose Avenue, calls for the construction of a four-story building that would feature 34 studio and one-bedroom apartments for formerly homeless households, as well as a two-bedroom manager's apartment.
Brooks + Scarpa is designing the low-rise structure, which would consist of a U-shaped mass above a single-story podium structure. The building would incorporate a recreational room, a laundry facility, offices for supportive services, and VCH's main offices.
Tina Chee Landscape Studio is also a member of the project's design team.
Additional details about the project are currently unclear.
