Almost one year after we last checked in, construction is coming to a close at a new mixed-use apartment complex at the intersection of Culver and Inglewood Boulevards in Del Rey.

Located on a site which was previously developed with a laundromat and two small residential buildings, the project consists of a five-story structure featuring 24 apartments above roughly 720 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 30-car garage.

MIKA Design Group's design for the project wraps four levels of wood-frame construction with painted stucco and metal fins.  Setbacks on its upper floors provide space for amenity decks.

City records list the project applicant as 4460 Inglewood, LLC, an entity managed by Thomas Turley.

The development site is located a short distance west from a similar mixed-use project which wrapped up construction last year at Culver Boulevard and Slauson Avenue.
