Four months after we last checked in, Jamison Services, Inc. has completed work on the wooden frame of a mixed-use development at Vermont Avenue and James M. Wood Boulevard in Koreatown.

Located at the southeast corner of the intersection, the project consists of a six-story building that will feature 193 apartments above 19,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 249 basement parking stalls.

Jamison secured entitlements using Transit Oriented Communities incentives, allowing for a larger project in exchange for setting aside 20 apartments as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.

The low-rise complex is designed by LARGE Architecture.  Renderings depict a contemporary building clad in metal panels and plaster, capped by a rooftop amenity deck.

The apartment complex is on pace for completion in 2021.

Jamison Services is developing more than a dozen similar projects throughout Koreatown and other neighborhoods in central Los Angeles.
