A surface parking lot in Pico Union could give way for a new eldercare facility, per a filing with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
The project, slated for a half-acre site at 1030 S. Lake Street, would consist of a seven-story building feature 203 senior housing units. Plans call for a mixture of independent apartments, assisted living units and memory care units.
The proposed development, whose applicant is listed as Paul Kim, would require a reduction in required on-site parking, among several other requests.
Additional details are unclear.
