After sitting dormant for nearly three years, work has once again commenced for a senior housing complex in Manhattan Beach.
The project from Virginia-based Sunrise Senior Living, located at 250-400 Sepulveda Boulevard, calls for the construction of 95 assisted living and memory care units, with 115 total beds. The complex will also feature a kitchen, common areas, and basement parking for 61 vehicles.
Per an environmental report circulated for the project, construction is anticipated to occur over an approximately 20-month period.
Whiting-Turner is serving as the project's general contractor, according to a landing page on the company's website and banners posted to the property.
Other Sunrise projects in the works for Los Angeles County include a proposed high-rise complex along Wilshire Boulevard's condo canyon in Westwood.
