A single-family home near Penmar Park in Venice is set to give way to townhomes, per a recent application to the L.A. Department of City Planning.
The project from Mosaic Development, slated for a property at 1321 E. Palms Boulevard, calls for subdividing the site into seven lots, each of which would be developed with a new home.
Design Studio Void is the architect for the project, which would consist of three-story structures containing a mix of two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Parking would be provided on the ground floor, or at street-level at the exterior.
The project would utilize the streamlining provisions of SB 1123, according to a filing.
A similar project is also in the works a few blocks away along Preston Way.
