Los Angeles-based Bittoni Architects has unveiled renderings for a new small lot subdivision in the Echo Park neighborhood.

The project, located on two parcels at 1418-1424 Mohawk Street, will replace a duplex and a triplex with seven single-family homes.  Each would stand three stories in height and featuring a rooftop decks and two-car garage.

City records list the project applicant as an entity affiliated with Goodson Real Estate.

Construction is slated to begin by the end of Summer 2020.

Goodson and Bittoni have previously worked on a proposed apartment buildings in Pico-Union, as well as another small lot development in Mid-City.

Small lot subdivisions are commonplace in Echo Park, with several projects located along nearby Glendale Boulevard.  One such development, called the Cliffs, is nearing completion approximately a half-mile north.
