Hanover Warner Center, which spans the south site of Kittridge Street between Variel and Independence Avenues, sits just east of the Orange Line busway's Canoga Station.  Plans call for a seven-story podium-type building featuring 394 apartments wrapped around an eight-story, 509-car parking structure.

Designed by TCA Architects, the project features three "distinct languages" according to its different street frontages.  Renderings depict a street-level courtyard fronting Kittridge Street and a pedestrian plaza at Variel Avenue.

Construction of the roughly $100-million project began in mid-2019 and is anticipated to conclude in 2021.

The project is one of numerous large apartment blocks taking shape in the Warner Center, including a similar 271-unit development now being built by Evolution Strategic Partners and another that is planned by Fairfield Residential.

Besides its Warner Center project, Houston-based Hanover Company is also developing partners in Westchester and Hollywood.
