Architectural plans posted by the Palms Neighborhood Council give a first look at a proposal from Geneva Street Partners to construct a mixed-use apartment building at 9900 Venice Boulevard.

The project, which would rise just outside of Downtown Culver City, calls for replacing a small medical office building and a single-family home with a seven-story, 54-unit development featuring 54 residential units, 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 70 parking spaces on a basement level and a two-story podium.

The Geneva development, designed by Hochhauser Blatter Associates, would provide a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, in addition to a central courtyard and three small roof decks.  Renderings depict a contemporary structure.

A timeline for the project is unclear based on the materials submitted to the neighborhood council.

Geneva Street Partners would build its projects just around the corner from a new apartment complex recently completed by California Landmark Group, and another now being built across the street by Oakmont Capital.  California Landmark Group is also seeking entitlements to build a second project on a neighboring lot.
