A commercial building in Warner Center currently occupied by a trampoline park could be redeveloped with senior housing, according to plans filed yesterday with the City of Los Angeles.

The property, located at 6033-6039 N. De Soto Avenue, was developed with a two-story tilt-up building in the early 1970s.  An application submitted yesterday to the Department of City Planning by CA Senior Living calls for razing this structure to make way for the development of a seven-story, 188,000-square-foot senior care facility, containing 86 independent living units, 74 assisted living units, and 30 memory care guest rooms.

Property records list the owner of the approximately 1.33-acre site at the Calabasas-based entity RAM Property Management, LLC.

Additional details regarding the project are unclear based on the case filing.

Elsewhere in Warner Center, a Spieker Senior Development Partners recently submitted plans to construct a 695-unit senior housing development on a 17.5-acre site fronting Canoga Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.

The 6033-6039 De Soto property is located a block southwest of two mixed-use developments from California Home Builders, and just west of the recently-finished Vela on Ox apartments.
