An exterior fence with landscaping was recently stripped away from a parking lot across the street from Sunset Bronson Studios, as local real estate investment trust Hudson Pacific Properties approaches the start for its latest Hollywood office tower.

The project, dubbed "Epic," would consist of a 15-story structure on at 1.55-acre property located at 5901 Sunset Boulevard.  The completed product would offer approximately 300,000 square feet of combined office and retail space, served by above- and below-grade parking for up to 830 vehicles.

The 230-foot tall edifice is being designed by the global architecture firm Gensler, and is highlighted by a cascading series of terrace decks that will provide amenity space and transitional height to the adjacent neighborhood.  Other features will include electric car charging stations, bike storage, showers and lockers.

Epic is the second major expansion HPP's Sunset Bronson Studios campus, which recently welcomed Netflix as a tenant of its new building Icon and Cue.
