Just south of the Los Angeles River on the perimeter of Warner Center, completion is nearing for Mira, a new multifamily residential development from CityView.

The project, located at 21425 W. Vanowen Street, consists of a six-story building featuring 174 apartments above parking for 245 vehicles.

Ken Stockton Architects designed the building, which has a stucco exterior that is painted blue and white.  Renderings show a large mural along at the property's southwest corner.

Greystar, which is managing the building, advertises a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments priced between $2,140 and $3,275 per month.

Several similar developments are now taking shape on nearby properties, including a seven-story, 101-unit apartment complex with retail at 21121 Vanowen Street.

Mira also sits across the street from a former Rocketdyne facility that has been slated for redevelopment with housing, retail, offices, and other uses in the past.

CityView is developing numerous multifamily residential projects in the Los Angeles area, including mixed-use buildings in Culver City, Westlake, and Carthay.
