At its meeting on April 10, the Palms Neighborhood Council's Planning and Land Use Committee is scheduled to review a proposal to construct apartments on a vacant lot at 3641 Motor Avenue.

The project, which is being developed by local attorney Bryan Mashian, would consist of a six-story building featuring 30 apartments with 280 square feet of ground-floor retail space.  Parking for 39 vehicles would be provided in a basement level, at-grade, and on the second story of the building's podium.

Los Angeles-based California Development and Design, Inc. is designing 3641 Motor, which is depicted with a colorful exterior and multiple rooftop decks.

Additional details regarding the project are unclear based on the presentation.

A similar mixed-use development is planned across the street at 3716 Motor Avenue.
