Construction has topped out at 966 S. Kenmore Avenue in Koreatown, where Jamison Services, Inc. is building yet another multifamily residential complex.

The project, which replaced two single-family dwellings just north of Olympic Boulevard, consists of a six-story edifice which will contain 50 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments upon completion.  Plans call for five apartments to be set aside as extremely low-income affordable housing and on-site parking for 45 vehicles.

Corbel Architects designed the contemporary podium-type building, which will be clad in a combination of stucco and concrete.  Renderings depict a series of inset and cantilevered balconies along the building's exterior.

Wilshire Construction, LP is the project's general contractor.

Completion is currently anticipated to occur in September 2020, according to Jamison Services.

Jamison Services is among the largest commercial and residential landlords in Koreatown, and previously developed a seven-story, 228-unit apartment building less than a half-mile west at 3060 W. Olympic Boulevard.
