A 1920s single-family home in the Winnetka neighborhood could be cleared for a new small lot subdivision, according to an application submitted last year to the L.A. Department of City Planning.
The project, slated for a roughly .46-acre site at 20012 W. Chase Street, calls for replacing the existing two-bedroom home with up to five townhome-style dwellings. The new homes would be approximately 2,100 square feet in size, and feature three bedrooms above a two-car garage.
City records list the project applicant as Robert Box, working through the entity Business Purpose Funding.
Architect Sammie Tabrizi is designing the houses, which are depicted with a contemporary look and an exterior of painted plaster, fiber cement boards, cedar wood siding, and brick.
A similar small lot development with nine homes is currently under construction on a neighboring site to the west along Chase Street.
