Wood framing is complete and exterior finishes are now taking shape at 5300 W. Adams Boulevard, the latest in a recent recent series of mixed-use buildings in the West Adams neighborhood.

The project, located on a corner site at Adams Boulevard and Cochran Avenue, consists of a three-story edifice that will feature eight apartments on its upper floors and parking and restaurant space at ground level.

Los Angeles County Assessor records list the owner of the development site as CIM Group, the Mid-Wilshire based real estate investment firm responsible for more than a half-dozen nearby office and residential developments.

The property sits directly across the street from the the Zoe Lofts - a three-story, 60-unit apartment complex which is CIM's largest project in the neighborhood - and a few blocks east of a new hotel now under construction at 5170 W. Adams Boulevard.

CIM Group has partnered with architecture firm ShubinDonaldson on the majority of its new housing developments along Adams Boulevard, as well as a new mixed-use project proposed for Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
