Construction is underway for a new office building in the Pico Union district, just outside the Downtown L.A. freeway ring.

The four-story building, located at 921 W. Venice Boulevard, is easily visible to travelers on both the Harbor and Santa Monica Freeways.  A leasing page from the website LoopNet indicates that the completed project will feature slightly over 20,000 square feet of leasable space.

Architectural renderings portray a nondescript low-rise structure with a color scheme of white and red.  Outdoor space would line the building's rooftop.

Just a few blocks west on Washington Boulevard, construction is also underway for a new medical office building.
