Concrete and rebar protrude above Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills, where a $10-billion development next to the Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Hotels takes shape.
One Beverly Hills, which is being developed by Cain and Eldridge Industries, spans a 17.5-acre site which fronts both Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards, as well as the Los Angeles Country Club to the west. When completed, plans call for:
- a 10-story, 78-suite Aman hotel with a 100,000-square-foot private club;
- approximately 200,000 square feet of commercial space;
- subterranean parking for roughly 1,700 vehicles; and
- up to 200 luxury condominiums ranging from 2,500 to 25,000 square feet in size.
Foster + Partners and Kerry Hill Architects headline the design team for the project, which will feature 28- and 31-story towers that will rank as the tallest structures within Beverly Hills. Rios is responsible for the project's landscaped space, which consists of half of the overall site - with 4.5 acres of that to serve as a publicly-accessible botanical garden.
Besides new construction, project will also involve the refurbishment of the Beverly Hilton.
Announced commercial tenants include Dolce&Gabbana, Los Mochis, and Casa Tua Cucina.
The first components of the project are set to come online in 2028.
