After nearly four years of work, the rehabilitation of the historic L.L. Burns Western Costume Building is finally nearing completion at 910 S. Broadway.

The seven-story structure, built in 1914, is being rehabilitated into a flagship store and production facility for Sparkle Factory, a jewelry business owned by husband-and-wife team Tarina Tarantino and Alfonso Campos.

Per DTLA Rising, the approximately 25,000-square-foot building will feature a series of vendor stalls at ground level, offering local designers an opportunity to showcase their products.

A second floor mezzanine could be reserved for gallery exhibitions and other events, while third-through-fifth floors of the building will be leased out as creative office spaces.  Sparkle Factory's corporate headquarters would occupy the top levels of the building.

Local architecture firm Omgivning designed the project.
