The project, which replaced a small commercial building most recently used as a daycare, calls for the construction of four new buildings containing a total of seven apartments, leaving space for three future accessory dwelling units.

Designed by JZA Architecture, the project is depicted in renderings as a set of contemporary four-story structures.

"Each unit is four stories on height with en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom to provide privacy for the student groups," reads a narrative posted to the firm's website. "A communal rear yard allows for gathering with landscaping, seating and a BBQ area. The four-story volumes are subdivided by white plaster volumes with punched openings and vertical fiber-cement plank siding and a decorative louver system."
