An approximately $25-million supportive housing development is rising just south of the I-210 Freeway in Sylmar.
Metamorphosis on Foothill, located at 13574 Foothill Boulevard, is being developed by Clifford Beers Housing in partnership with Abbey Road. The project will consist of a pair of three-story buildings featuring 49 apartments - including 47 for families and individuals experiencing homelessness - with on-site supportive services, a community garden, a private park, and other amenities.
Renderings depict a contemporary design by architecture firm Togawa Smith Martin.
GB Construction is serving as the project's general contractor, with Levine Management Group to provide property management and Penny Lane Centers slated to provide on-site services.
Completion of Metamorphosis is expected in September 2020.
