A year-and-a-half after breaking ground in Winnetka, the wrapping is off at Palm Vista, a new affordable and permanent supportive housing complex from Hollywood Community Housing Corp.
Located at 20116-20128 Sherman Way, the project from Hollywood Community Hous9ing and GTM Holdings replaced a series of automobile repair shops with a new four-story building which will feature 44 supportive housing units, 45 low-income housing units, and two manager's apartments at completion.
Plans call for a mix of one- and two-bedroom floor plans, all of which would be set aside for households earning a maximum of 50 percent of the area median income level.
Lahmon Architects is designing the contemporary low-rise building, which sits near the intersection of Sherman Way and Winnetka Avenue.
Hollywood Community Housing and GTM Holdings are both developing other supportive housing projects in the Los Angeles area, including the Reese Davidson Community in Venice and the Depot at Hyde Park on Crenshaw Boulevard.
