A newly published flythrough video offers a look inside the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine, which is now under construction in Pasadena.

Located at the southeast corner of Los Robles Avenue and Green Street, the school will occupy a four-story building featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a rooftop deck.

The school will begin taking applications for its inaugural class in June 2019, with completion of construction anticipated in 2020.  Its first class will consist of 48 students, with plans to scale up to 192 students by 2022.

The Oakland-based non-profit announced today that its first five student classes will be able to attend the school tuition-free for all four years.

Across the street from the Kaiser Permanente facility, construction was recently completed for a 186-room Hyatt Place hotel at Paseo Colorado.
