A late 1930s house in the Mid-City neighborhood could soon make way for a small lot subdivision.
The proposed development, designed by Bittoni Architects, calls for the construction of three townhome-style dwellings at 1747 S. Marvin Avenue - a mid-block site between Venice Boulevard and Ballona Creek. Each of the new structures would stand four stories in height, featuring a rooftop deck and a two-car garage.
Renderings depict a contemporary look for the houses, with a shared driveway to be located along the northern property line.
Construction permits for the project are currently pending with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.
Los Angeles County Assessor's records indicate that the owner of the project site is Goodson Real Estate, a firm which frequently works with Bittoni.
