Images taken one year apart by Paul Wright highlight the rapid pace of construction in Downtown Los Angeles, as viewed from the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area.
The before photo shows an abundance of cranes between South Park and the Financial District, as projects such as Metropolis, Oceanwide Plaza, and Circa were simultaneously midway through construction.
The latter image, from January 2018, shows those towers in a semi-finished state, with additional buildings at 825 South Hill and 1120 Grand Avenue protruding into the skyline.
Imagine what's to come in 2019!
