Townhome-style apartments on the rise at 2223 Clifford Street in Silver Lake

Just off of Glendale Boulevard in Silver Lake, construction is underway for a small development of townhouse-style apartments.

Located on the former site of a 1910s single-family home at 2223 W. Clifford Street, the project consists of a three-story structure containing three residential units. Plans call for garages at the ground floor of each dwelling, as well as a rooftop deck above.

Development House is serving as both the architect and developer behind the new project, which is named "The Views on Clifford." Plans call for a mix of three-bedroom, three-bathroom floor plans ranging from 1,800 to 2,000 square feet in size.

Other entities involved include Sayah Engineering and Bravo Group Construction, according to a building permit.

Construction at 2223 Clifford is on pace for completion in April 2023, says Sean Navi of Development House via e-mail.
