Townhome-style apartments underway at 12032 Washington Pl. in Mar Vista

A pair of mid-century triplexes in Mar Vista has made way for a new development of townhome-style apartments.

The project, under construction since mid-2024 at 12032-12038 Washington Place, consists of two four-story structures featuring four homes each - or eight in total. A project description indicates that both buildings will include rooftop decks.

City records indicate that Stockton Architects is designing the homes.

Property records list the owner of the site as the Culver City-based entity 1340 Broadway, LLC, which is managed by Benjamin Donel.

A handful of similar projects, such as the nearby Eight East Homes, have been built along the Washington Place corridor over the past decade.
