At its meeting this Wednesday, the Culver City Planning Commission is scheduled to review a proposal to construct new townhomes just south of Sony Pictures Studios.

Developer Salem Property Holdings is pursuing the development if nine condos on two lots at 4051 and 4055 Jackson Avenue, just outside of Downtown Culver City.  Other project components would include an internal walkway and basement parking for up to 18 vehicles.

Renderings of the Jackson Villas, which is being designed by Shakil Patel & Associates, show a collection of contemporary two-story buildings featuring glass balconies.  Each house would also feature a rooftop deck.

A timeline for the project is currently unclear.

Similar townhouse projects are also underway on Duquesne Avenue and Wade Street in Culver City.
