Prolific local developer Jamison Services, Inc. is putting the finishing touches on its first project in Hollywood.

The six-story development, called Archer Hollywood, is located just north of Hollywood Boulevard at 1718 N. Las Palmas Avenue.  The project includes 224 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments - with 24 reserved for very low-income households - above 1,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a subterranean parking garage.

The contemporary low-rise structure, designed by Withee Malcolm Architects, spans across a one-acre site with frontage on both Las Palmas and Cherokee Avenue.  Common amenities within the project will include a courtyard with a swimming pool and a rooftop deck.

Completion is on pace to occur later this year.

Several similar multifamily residential buildings are either planned or under construction on nearby properties, including a 118-unit apartment complex at Highland and Franklin Avenues and a prefabricated modular development just south of Hollywood Boulevard.

While Archer is Jamison's first project in Hollywood, the developer is currently in the midst of construction at more than a half-dozen sites in more in Koreatown.
