In Mid-City Santa Monica, the wrapping is starting to come off of a new mixed-use apartment complex at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Centinela Avenue.

The project from Los Angeles-based developer Cypress Equity Investments, which replaced an Aahs! store at 3223 Wilshire Boulevard, consists of a four-story building that will feature 53 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments above 5,800 square feet of ground-floor commercial space when completed. Plans also call for a 109-car subterranean parking garage.
