NSB Associates and JLL have signed Radiology Partners to a 63,820-square-foot lease at Ascend, a recently-completed office building in El Segundo.  The company is relocating its headquarters from a nearby building in El Segundo.

Ascend, located at 2330 Utah Avenue, consists of a two-story structure featuring 80,000 square feet of leasable space atop a covered parking structure.  Despite its almost warehouse-like exterior, the project was designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry.

Mike McRoskey, Blake Searles, Evan Moran, and Jason Fine of JLL represented NSB Associates in the transaction, while Jake Bobek of CBRE represented Radiology Partners.

Ascend is part of the larger Utah Avenue Campus, which consists of six buildings offering 390,000 square feet of space.

C3 at Culver Pointe, a 280,000-square-foot office building completed last year near the Westfield Culver City shopping mall, is now fully leased according to an announcement from JLL.

Designed by Gensler, the property offers 280,000 square feet of rentable space in a building that is billed as a vertical creative campus.

Developer IDS Real Estate Group opened C3 35 percent preleased, thanks to a pair of leases signed last year by Henkel and Dentsu Aegis Network/Carat.  They have since been joined by other companies including MMGY Global, Red Light Management, and Corgan Associates.

Darren Eades, Scott Becket, and Alyssa De Oca of JLL represented the tenant which brought the building to full occupancy, taking 118,974 square feet of space.  Although a release does not specify the identity of this company, the Real Deal has reported that they mystery tenant is Bytedance, a Chinese startup valued at $75 billion.
