On Sunday, April 16, CicLAvia is back from 9 am to 4 pm with a four-mile open streets event between Mid-City and Pico Union.
The event, sponsored by Metro and Accelerate Resilience L.A., will run along Washington and Venice Boulevards, stretching from La Brea Avenue in the west to Hoover Street in the east.
In case you've forgotten how this works: only people-powered vehicles allowed. That means no electric scooters, skateboards, hoverboards, unicycles, motorcycles and other non-people-powered vehicles are permitted. However, Class 1 e-bike pedal-assist is allowed, Class 2 e-bikes are allowed when throttle is powered off, and Class 3 e-bikes are allowed when pedal-assist is powered down.
The calendar of 2023 CicLAvia events also include:

- June 18: South LA – Vermont Ave;
- August 20: Koreatown Meets Hollywood;
- September 17: New CicLAmini – North Hollywood;
- October 15: Heart of LA; and
