Los Angeles-based developer CityView is forging ahead with construction of its latest multifamily residential complex in Warner Center.
The six-story building, located at 21425 W. Vanowen Street, will offer 174 residential units atop parking for 245 vehicles at grade and in one basement level. Plans call for a mix of one- and two-bedroom dwellings, with an amenity package that includes a swimming pool, a gym, and multiple courtyards.
Ken Stockton Architects is designing the podium-type building, which will rise 72 feet above street level. A rendering portrays a colorful apartment block.
A similar multifamily residential development is planned a just west to replace a parking lot at the corner of Vanowen and Canoga Avenue.
The project site is also located across the street from the 47-acre Rocketdyne site, which is reportedly being purchased by the Canadian mall developer Triple Five.
CityView CityView has an ambitious slate of mixed-use apartment buildings planned or underway throughout Los Angeles County, including projects in Culver City and Westlake.
