The Somerset Group's Zinc Apartments are topped out just west of MacArthur Park. 

The seven-story development, located at 2525 Wilshire Boulevard, will feature 152 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as 7,500 square feet of ground-level retail space and a subterranean parking garage.  Open space amenities planned within the building include a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a rooftop deck.

DFH Architects designed the contemporary mid-rise structure, which replaces a surface parking lot.

Completion is expected during 2018.
