ULI Los Angeles, in partnership with VerdeXchange, announces FutureBuild 2018. The leading minds of urban transformation will offer resilient, livable and sustainable solutions for the 21st Century on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, at L.A. Downtown Hotel, 333 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071.
The annual, interactive event spotlights environmental, technology and development innovations for cities to thrive, despite the Federal government’s attempts to undo efforts to reduce climate change and mitigate its effects. Bringing many disciplines together, the event will answer one overriding question: How do you adapt in order to thrive?
“Despite the rolling back of America’s climate change commitments on the federal level, California’s thought leaders are taking control of our own destiny,” said Sara Neff, Senior VP of Sustainability for Kilroy Realty Corporation and Co-Chair of ULI Los Angeles’ FutureBuild 2018. “The FutureBuild Sessions at VerdeXchange will set the conversation on sustainable design and technologies allowing our cities to compete and succeed. The world looks toward the many California-based innovators in building, design, development and technology presented at FutureBuild.”
