Just north of Rosecrans Avenue in Gardena, the exterior of a new multifamily residential development from Cocoon has been revealed.

The three-story building, located at 13919 S. Normandie Avenue, is named Cocoon 20 - a reference to the fact that the project will feature 20 studio apartments.

DE Architects is designing the apartment complex, which features an exterior of white stucco with blue accents, closely resembling renderings produced prior to the start of construction on the building in 2023.

The project is three Cocoon developments now planned or under construction in Gardena, including  a larger 121-unit development slated for Western Avenue and a future  97-unit development planned just south of El Segundo Boulevard.

The first Cocoon project in Gardena, completed in 2022, is a 63-unit development located at 16819 S. Normandie Avenue.
