In Mid-City, work is well underway for a new small lot subdivision just south of Pico Boulevard.
The project at 1501 S. Fairfax Avenue, which replaced a 1940s triplex, consists of four single-family homes, according to building permit records. A presentation given in 2019 to the P.I.C.O. Neighborhood Council's Land Use Committee indicated that the homes would stand three stories in height and each feature 1,900-square-foot floor plans with three bedrooms, two-car garages, and private roof decks.
Dewitt Design Group is designing the project, which are clad in corrugated metal and stucco.
Dewitt Development Group is developing the houses.
The site is located two blocks east of a 58-unit development now rising at the intersection of Hi Point and Saturn Streets.
