A vacant church in Historic South-Central could be redeveloped with affordable housing through the Mayor's Executive Directive 1, per an application submitted in July to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.

Goldfin Ventures, the applicant behind the project at 665 E. Adams Boulevard, is seeking approvals for the construction of a new five-story building featuring 92 studio and one-bedroom apartments without on-site parking.
Save for a single market-rate manager's unit, all of the apartments would be restricted to rent by low- and moderate-income households.
Metropolis Architecture is designing the contemporary low-rise structure, which would include two courtyards and a small rear yard.

City records indicate that the project site last sold in June 2023 for approximately $1.3 million.
