Wood framing is complete for a permanent supportive housing complex from RMG Housing in the South L.A. neighborhood of Green Meadows.

The project, which broke ground last year at 10400 S. San Pedro Street, is located on a property previously home to Southside Bethel Baptist Church. The new five-story building is set to feature 47 one-bedroom apartments when completed.

City records list Brian Noteware as the architect for the project. A rendering portrays the building as a contemporary low-rise structure.

Southside Bethel Baptist Church, located at 104th and San Pedro Streets for decades, is not leaving the property altogether. The church will hold services in a 1,700-square-foot community room in the new building that will double as a sanctuary.

RMG Housing is developing at least 10 similar projects across the City of Los Angeles.
