63 apartments reach their peak at 10213 Inglewood Ave. in Lennox

In unincorporated Lennox, wood framing is nearly complete for a new multifamily residential development from Vargas Properties.

Located at 10213 Inglewood Avenue, the new five-story building will include 63 studio and one-bedroom apartments without on-site parking.

County approvals include density bonus incentives to permit the construction of a larger building than zoning rules would have otherwise allowed. In exchange, six of the apartments are to be set aside for households earning no more than 80 percent of the area median income level.

Rahman Engineering is designing 10213 Inglewood, according to approved plans.

The project is one of two from Vargas Properties along this stretch of road, joining a larger 136-unit development taking shape across the street at 10200 Inglewood Avenue.
