Park East, located at 200 W. Mesnager Avenue, consists of six- and seven-story podium-type buildings containing 280 apartments above 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and offices space. Parking for 300 parking vehicles is located on two subterranean levels.

Rents for the studio, one-, and two-bedroom units start at $2,248 per month and range as high as $4,276 per month.

GBD Architects designed Park East, which includes amenities such as central courtyard, a yoga studio, a dog park, and a swimming pool.

The project, which is one of just a handful built under the rules of the Cornfield Arroyo Seco Specific plan, will soon have company. Construction is ongoing for an even larger mixed-use project with 376 apartments a short walk south at 1457 N. Main Street.
