One year after breaking ground, framing is complete for a new supportive housing complex just north of Temple Street in Historic Filipinotown.
The project, called Loma Verde, is a joint venture between Holos Communities and Restore Neighborhoods L.A. at 405 N. Westlake Avenue. The new four-story building is to feature 18 apartments without on-site parking when complete.
One of two projects which Holos is developing with Restore Neighborhoods L.A., was among several developments awarded Measure HHH challenge funds.
Lehrer Architects is designing the Loma Verde, which is shown in renderings with lush greenery wrapping its exterior.
The project team for Loma Verde also includes service provider HOPICS, general contractor Alpha Construction, and funding partners Genesis - LA, Red Stone Equity Partners, and the Los Angeles Housing Department.
The development site sit just north of Alexan Bahay, a mixed-use building featuring 200 apartments and a ground-floor Target.
