One year after our last update in Silver Lake, exterior finishes are taking shape for a new multifamily residential building from Ryda and Local Development.

The project, which replaced a parking lot at 3004 W. Sunset Boulevard, consists of a five-story building that will feature 74 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above parking for 64 vehicles.

A leasing profile indicates that the name of the property is Mysa. Advertised rents range from $787 to $7,425 per month.

Ryda entitled the site for development to using Transit Oriented Communities incentives to allow for increased height, floor area, and density. In exchange, six apartments would be set aside as deed-restricted affordable housing.

Lahmon Architects is designing the project, which will include a community room, a landscaped courtyard, and a rooftop deck.

At the time of its groundbreaking in early 2023, completion of Mysa was expected in 2025.

Ryda's other upcoming projects include a larger mixed-use apartment complex approved for the opposite side of Sunset Boulevard in 2022, while Local Development's portfolio includes a number of upcoming multifamily residential buildings across the city.
