The project - which is being developed as a joint venture between Harridge Development Group, Silverpeak Real Estate Partners and Atalaya Capital - is called "Solaterra" and will include 102 three-story townhomes when completed.

A leasing website website advertises a mix of three- and four-bedroom floor plans, with monthly rents ranging between $4,850 and $5,460 per month.

The new townhomes are part of a larger project approved by Los Angeles City officials at 16201 San Fernando Mission Boulevard which also calls for the construction of four-story, 140-unit apartment building on an adjacent plot of land. That approved plan was pared down from an earlier pitch by Harridge to build a a larger 430-unit apartment complex with more than 60,000 square feet of commercial space in 2015.

Harridge is attached to several large projects across the City of Los Angeles, including a mixed-use complex now rising near Wilshire/Vermont Station in Koreatown, the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall redevelopment, and Crossroads Hollywood.
