Exterior finishes are taking shape for a mixed-use apartment complex from RBM of California in West Los Angeles.
Located at 2107-2121 S. Westwood Boulevard, the project consists of a five-story building that will feature 92 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments above approximately 1,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a two-level, 125-car subterranean parking structure
Project entitlements include density bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, eight of the proposed apartments must be set aside for rent as deed-restricted very low-income affordable housing.
DE Architects is designing the project, which is clad in blue and white stucco, and includes setbacks on its upper floors.
RBM of CA, a subsidiary of the Japanese real estate investment firm Residence Building Management Co., has also developed mixed-use projects in the Mid-Wilshire and Palms neighborhoods. The company is currently building an apartment building just west of the 405 Freeway in Sawtelle.
