Five small lot homes rise at 2772 Rowena Ave. in Silver Lake

New small lot homes are now taking shape on a previously vacant plot of land off of Glendale Boulevard in Silver Lake.

The project at 2772 Rowena Avenue, filed with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning in 2022, consists of five single-family dwellings, each featuring three bedrooms above a two-car garage at ground level.

Architect Tracy A. Stone is designing the three-story homes, which will be clad in stucco and fiber cement panels. Plans show each will feature a rooftop amenity deck.

City records list the project applicant as Poan Chen through the San Francisco-based entity 2772 Rowena, LLC.

A mixed-use apartment complex is currently under construction across the street from the project site at 2771 Rowena Avenue.
