An application to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning reveals updated plans, and a new look, for a proposed affordable housing complex from Logos Faith Development in Historic South-Central.
The project, which was awarded $500,000 in funding from the Roy and Patricia Disney Foundation last year, would rise from a site located at 3602 Crawford Street. Plans call for a three-story building featuring 19 one-bedroom apartments with parking for six vehicles.
The apartments will cater to a mix of low- and moderate-income renters, according to plans, making the project eligible for city development incentives.
JZA Architecture is designing the proposed project, which has been reduced from the 24-unit plan initially presented in 2025.
The Crawford development is part of a development pipeline for Logos which is valued at more than $500 million and includes over 2,000 homes. The developer announced plans last year for a larger project on Central Avenue in Watts.
