Six months after topping out just south of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood's Hollywood Park complex, glass is now climbing the exterior of the new Kali Hotel and Rooftop.

The project, which is being developed by KPC Development Company, consists of a 12-story building that will feature 300 guest rooms on its upper floors, as well as 34 suites designed for sports and entertainment figures visiting nearby venues. The hotel is to be part of Marriott's Autograph Collection.

Crescent Hotels & Resorts will serve as property manager for the Kali Hotel. Other members of the project team include Lamar Johnson Collaborative, Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence, and builder Clayco.

At the time of its topping out ceremony in September 2025, completion was expected in roughly one year's time.

Under construction next door to the hotel is the new Hollywood Park Studios complex announced in May 2025. The first stage of the project will include five soundstages and an 80,000-square-foot office building across 12 acres. A future expansion of Hollywood Park Studios could permit an additional 20 soundstages and 200,000 square feet of offices. 

Gensler is designing the project, while Clayco will serve as general contractor.

The Kali Hotel and the new studio complex is being built on property ground leased from Kroenke Holdings, which owns both the Los Angeles Rams and the Hollywood Park complex. The master planned development is billed as the largest project of its type on the west coast, and will include an additional 890,000 square feet of retail space and 2,500 homes when completed, in addition to existing improvements such as SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park Casino.

Other hotels in development near Hollywood Park include a Fairfield Inn now underway on Century Boulevard and the 15-story Arya Hotel planned next to Intuit Dome.
