The next big development to rise at Hollywood Park in Inglewood will be a new production campus that will also serve as the international broadcast center for the 2028 Olympics, according to multiple published reports.
Construction is expected to kick off this summer for the project from Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke, the first phase of which will include five soundstages and an 80,000-square-foot office building across 12 acres. Plans also call for parking for up to 1,100 vehicles.
A future expansion of Hollywood Park Studios could permit an additional 20 soundstages and 200,000 square feet of offices.
Gensler is designing the project, while Clayco will serve as general contractor and Pacific Edge will be project manager. Guggenheim Investments arranged financing for the projects.
Kroenke, who is also the developer of the Hollywood Park complex, which will eventually surround SoFi Stadium with thousands of homes, retail, and high-rise hotel. The complex is also home to the NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app, and NFL Redzone, which have leased 290,000 square feet of office space near the stadium.
In addition to his holdings in Inglewood, Kroenke has also announced plans for a $10-billion mixed-use complex in Warner Center which would be built around the Rams headquarters and practice facility.
