A year-and-a-half since we last checked in, Anastasi Development's new Torrance townhomes are nearing the finish line.

The project, now named North Pointe, is located on a roughly one-acre site at 18080-18090 Prairie Avenue. It consists of 24 townhomes, arranged in two rows along a common driveway at the center of the property.

According to a project brochure, the homes consist exclusively of two-bedroom floor plans with 1,057 square feet of space and a two-car garage at street level. All units also include balconies and patios.

As expected based on a Torrance Planning Commission staff report, the homes are clad in a mixture of wood siding and stucco.

Other developments on the horizon in the Torrance area include a recently-approved project from Lennar which would bring 260 townhomes to land just east of the Del Amo Fashion Center.
